"Love, love, love Dr. Elliott and her attention to detail with our two Papillons and Sheltie."

Love love love Dr Elliott and her attention to detail to our two Papillons and Sheltie. She recently performed dental surgery on our 7 year old Papillon. It went very well and she worked with us on proper home care after surgery to assure we met his needs at home. She has been exceptionally accommodating in working with us re his busy agility competition schedule. In addition, she stays well informed about the treatments he receives at the Veterinary Rehab Hospital at Quartet in Cary NC which help keep him in excellent physical shape. Dr. Elliott also diagnosed our 14 year old Papillon when he went into heart failure and closely monitors his medications. He has done very well under her care. In addition, she has worked in our 9 year old Sheltie for his shots and other medical needs so we do not have to make an extra trip as we live an hour away from Needham Animal Hospital. So far he is the perfect picture of good health. She is one wonderful Veterinarian.

"I have never had a vet be so respectful of my own finances, and I have never had such an overall positive vet experience."

I have never had a specific doctor at a vet’s office that I felt especially drawn to, and I therefore would just always see whoever was available at whatever my chosen office was. After seeing Dr. Crow at Needham, though, this has changed! She was so fantastic with my dog who is very nervous around new people, especially in a context like the vet. She was so understanding and personable and really talked through things with me. She was also transparent with pricing and wanted to make sure we were working within a reasonable budget while also healing my pup. I have never had a vet be so respectful of my own finances, and I have never had such an overall positive vet experience. I felt like she truly cared about my dog and me! The difference in pricing between Needham and my previous vet (also in Wilmington) was also night and day; I couldn’t believe how affordable it was in comparison while also providing exponentially better service. I will be recommending Needham to everyone!

I brought my dog in for a new patient wellness exam this morning and Needham exceeded my expectations! The clinic was so clean, the front desk was friendly, and Lyric and Dr. Johnson were absolutely wonderful! I’m so thankful to have found a new vet! I highly recommend them!

"I am very impressed with Needham Animal Hospital!"

I just moved to the area and Tito began coughing after staying at the local kennel. The staff greeted me at the car and brought Tito and I to an exam room. They were so nice, professional and caring. The place is beautiful and clean. Dr. Gentile was awesome and very knowledgable. Tito left with meds for kennel cough of some sort. The next day his cough changed so I asked for an xray and they worked me in!! His lungs were clear and Dr. Gentile went over everything with me. I am an Anatomy & Physiology Teacher as well as a microbiologist. I am very impressed with Needham Animal Hospital! So glad my dogs come here!

Needham was absolutely amazing! I have had some pretty poor experiences with vets in the past so its always nerve racking for me to have to find a new veterinarian but this place was perfect. Very clean, the vet actually took the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions rather than rushing me out the door. Everyone was very friendly and sweet!

"Needham has always gone above and beyond to make my dog feel comfortable and have always had incredible amounts of patience with her at our visits."

I love Needham, but I am incredibly picky with which vet my dog goes to as she is a rescue and has bad anxiety, especially at the vet and every appointment always takes a team to get through the appointment. I have had so many bad experiences with vets in the past treating her like an inconvenience and having no patience with her extra needs. Needham has always gone above and beyond to make my dog feel comfortable and have always had incredible amounts of patience with her during our visits. They are so receptive to her needs and are so incredibly helpful. Maya's vet Dr. Rowe is the most fantastic vet I have ever taken her to, he is patient and understanding and always makes her visits less stressful. I cannot be more grateful that this vet exists as well as the entire staff!

I was with Needham from 2010-2016 and we moved away for 4yrs., then came back in 2021 with our two newer kitties. Needham has consistently given our pets the best care & advice. There are several providers to chose from & honestly- since 2010, there’s only been one provider I wasn’t thrilled with. My pets have always been treated wonderfully & given appointments within a reasonable time frame (based on the reason). I’ve never had any problems with billing or products. I’ve also had any questions answered (no matter how odd) & no one has ever made me feel crazy for asking. I appreciate the staff & all they do for my pets. The hours at Needham are amazing! I can get in generally when requested. This place is amazing for us & our pets!!

Dr. Thompson takes such good care of our boy Bo. At our first appointment, she was tasked with fixing many problems such as food and skin allergies to various lumps and bumps. Through careful screening and expert diagnosis, Dr. Thompson has transformed our boy Bo into a healthy, beautiful golden retrevier. I am hopeful with Dr. Thompson and staff's expert care, Bo will continue to live a long and happy life.
