Halak is originally from India and Canada, Halak began a new chapter in her life when she moved to Wilmington in 2022. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Pre‑Vet) with a minor in Assistance Dog Training at UNCW, graduating in May 2026. Drawn to a career helping animals, she’s been preparing rigorously for veterinary school. While at UNCW, she’s an active member of the Seahawk Equestrian team—the university’s club sport affiliated with Honalee Stables— where she rides competitively and immerses herself in the equestrian community. Riding horses is one of her greatest passions. When she’s not in class or at the stables, she puts her toes in the sand regularly—Wilmington beaches are her happy place. She also enjoys hanging out with friends, building relationships, and exploring the local area.
