Jennah’s love of veterinary medicine has taken her around NC and into VA, and has spanned general practice, emergency and critical care, education, and an array of specialties. She has experience teaching at a veterinary technician school and teaches hands on skills for students in online vet tech programs and externships. In May 2024, Jennah was part of the first graduating class from the only 4-year Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology program in NC. Her certifications include Elite Fear Free Certification in Companian Animal and Avian, Basic and Advanced Life Support Certification from the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care, and Prevetive Pet Healthcare from the Amercian Veterinary Medical Association. She is a former NC Association of Veterinary Technicians board member (President and Vice-President), and a former advisory board member for Central Carolina Community College’s Veterinary Medical Technology Program. She enjoys being active in the community and the schools through volunteer work and substitute teaching. Jennah and her daughter, Cooper, enjoy travelling, movies, and giving back. They share their home with their cats, Jake from State Farm, Peppermint Sparkles, Ed Purrin, and Lunar Eclipse.
