Jalessa

Jalessa is originally from Mebane, NC, and recently made the move to Wilmington. She spent two years at ECU and is now continuing her education at UNCW, where she plans to graduate in 2027 or 2028 with a degree in marketing. One of her favorite parts of the job is the special moments when a pet’s owner says, “Oh, they really like you! They don’t usually like people.” Those connections make every day rewarding. Outside of work, Jalessa is a creative at heart. She enjoys painting portraits and sculpting tiny, realistic clay creations. She also loves learning, growing, and forming new relationships. At home, she shares her space with her roommate and her dog, Chet Roomie.
