Star joined our Boarding and Daycare Team as a Lead in December of 2024. They are from a very small town in Mississippi and moved to Wilmington in 2021. Star is currently enrolled at UNCW at Chapel Hill and is currently unsure of their graduation date, but is working towards a degree in Zoology and Conservation Biology. Star would one day like to work and care for big cats and tiger conservation. Star has experience in grooming, daycare, boarding, and helping with adoptions. They share their home with their wife, Hunter, and their huge Karakachan, “Jean-Luc”. They also have dairy cow isopods. Star loves to play instruments (guitar and violin), make art (digital pieces and collages), explore nature, make terrariums, and read lots of books.
